Lapsang Souchong – smoked black tea, loose leaf

Lapsang Souchong is one of the world's most distinctive teas. Our organic Lapsang comes from Fujian, China, where the leaves are traditionally dried over pinewood. This gives the deep, smoky flavour and campfire aroma Lapsang Souchong is famous for.

A tea for those who enjoy whisky, smoked food or want to try something completely different. It is also popular in cooking – in marinades, broths or to add a smoky touch to sauces.

How to brew

  • 2–3 g tea per 200 ml cup – start with less if you are new to smoked tea
  • Water 90–95 °C
  • Steep 3–4 minutes

Goes well with

Brunch, eggs and bacon, smoked salmon, aged cheeses and game.
