Organic Flavoured Yerba Mate – Original Mate

Green yerba mate in six flavours from French brand Original Mate – smooth, aromatic and never bitter. Choose between fresh peppermint, zesty lemon and ginger, red hibiscus, sweet red berries, floral lavender or spicy chai with cinnamon and cardamom. Choose your flavour above.

Enjoy it hot with a bombilla or brewed in a teapot, or let it cool and serve over ice. Blended and packed by Original Mate in Saint-Brieuc, Brittany.

Preparation
With a bombilla: Put 1 tablespoon of mate in a cup, mug or gourd (approx. 30 cl). Pour over hot water, max 80 °C, insert the bombilla and steep for at least 5 minutes. Top up with fresh water – the same leaves last for several rounds.
As an infusion: Use 1 tablespoon of mate per 30 cl of water in a teapot or tea strainer. Pour over water, max 80 °C, and steep for at least 5 minutes. The leaves can be brewed 2–3 times.
