How to brew your blooming tea

Brewing blooming tea is simple – and just as enjoyable to watch as it is to drink:

• Preferably use a glass teapot or a large transparent cup so you can watch the flower open.
• Place a tea ball in the pot and pour water heated to 80–90°C (slightly below boiling point) over it.
• Steep for 3–5 minutes and watch the flower slowly unfurl.
• Drink and enjoy – the same ball can often be brewed 2–3 times.
